At Amiguito we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what controls you have over it. It applies to the app (available in Spanish and English, for any country) and to this website. By using the app you accept the practices described here.
1. Information we process
- Account (optional): only required for chat, AI agents, group chats, and reminder sync. We store your name, email, preferred language and country, and — if you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook — the identifier that provider gives us. You can use the USD rate, weather, news, and local reminders without an account.
- Location: we use your approximate location only to show the weather for your area. We don't store it on our servers; it's sent to look up the forecast and isn't retained.
- Camera and photos: if you use the outfit advisor, the photo you choose is sent for AI analysis and isn't retained after the suggestion is generated. You can deny camera and gallery access.
- Microphone: voice dictation is processed by your device's speech-recognition engine. Amiguito doesn't record or store audio.
- Chat, agent, and suggestion content: the messages you send to chat, to your AI agents (one-on-one or in groups), to the outfit advisor, and to the food assistant are processed by AI providers to generate responses. We keep a history and a "memory" (preferences and agent notes) to improve suggestions and avoid repeats. You can delete these at any time.
- Reminders (with an account): if you sign in, your reminders and their completion history sync to our servers so they're available across your devices. Without an account, they're stored only on your device.
- Technical usage data: basic error, performance, and AI-feature usage logs (to apply the free and subscription limits described in the Terms) to keep the app running.
2. How we use this information
- To provide the app's features (USD rate, weather, chat, AI agents, groups, news, reminders, outfit, and food) in your preferred language and country.
- To personalize suggestions and avoid repeating recommendations.
- To enforce the free and subscription usage limits on AI features.
- To keep the service secure and stable.
3. Retention of chat and reminder content
Chat history, agent and group conversations, and outfit/food memory are kept while your account is active, to keep conversations continuous and avoid repeats. Synced reminders and their completion history are kept the same way. You can delete history or memory from the app, and deleting your account permanently erases them.
4. Third-party providers
To operate, Amiguito relies on third-party services: cloud AI model providers and self-hosted local models (for chat, agents, outfit, and food), weather and geocoding services, news sources, and sign-in providers (Google, Apple, Facebook). These services process only the data necessary for their function.
5. Advertising and purchases
Amiguito is currently free, with daily AI message limits (see Terms), and shows no ads. If ads are enabled or the Premium subscription is expanded in the future, we'll update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent (for example, the tracking permission on iOS).
6. Your rights and controls
- Revoke location, camera, photo, and microphone permissions from your device settings.
- Delete the history and memory of AI features and agents from the app.
- Delete or stop syncing your reminders from the app.
- Change your preferred language and country at any time in Settings.
- Delete your account and all associated data from Settings.
- Contact us to exercise any right over your data.
7. Children
Amiguito is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We'll publish the current version on this page along with its update date.
