These terms govern use of the Amiguito app, available in Spanish and English for users in any country. By downloading or using the app you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
1. The service
Amiguito is a daily-utility app that shows the USD rate and other currencies, weather, news, reminders, and AI features (chat, customizable AI agents, group chats, outfit advice, and food suggestions), with USD/weather/news content scoped to your country. Information is provided for informational purposes only.
2. Reference information, not advice
- Exchange rates: USD and other currency values are for reference and may differ from your bank's or exchange house's rates. They don't constitute financial advice.
- Weather: forecasts come from third parties and may vary. We don't guarantee their accuracy.
- AI suggestions: responses from chat, agents, outfit, and food are generated automatically and may contain errors. They don't replace professional advice (medical, nutritional, legal, or otherwise).
- Reminders: they're a helper, with universal and country-specific templates; you're responsible for meeting your own obligations (bills, insurance, taxes, paperwork, etc.) on time.
3. Your account
Some features (chat, AI agents, group chats, the closet, and synced reminders) require an account. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity performed from your account, including your agents and groups. You must provide truthful information when registering.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't use the app, chat, or AI agents for illegal purposes or to generate harmful, offensive content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Don't attempt to breach security, reverse-engineer, evade usage limits, or overload the service.
- Don't submit content you don't have the right to share.
5. AI usage limits
The free plan includes an AI allowance the app shows. It covers chat, agents, groups, outfit, food and, when a cloud model is involved, garment detection and closet suggestions. Saving clothes, the calendar, stats, and export do not spend that allowance. Premium includes a larger allowance. A reply served by a local model does not spend the allowance. Current values are shown in the app and may change. Premium is bought in the App Store or Google Play. The website does not sell the subscription.
6. Third-party content and links
The app may show news, exchange houses, restaurants, and other third-party content, as well as external links. If you talk about a haircut and share a location, the app may show shops and open the booking page of a separate service (Tuturno). The appointment is made there, not in Amiguito. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
7. Free features and purchases on this site
Amiguito can be used without paying, subject to the AI allowance described above. The closet is not sold by how many items you save. Premium, when offered at amiguito.co/cuenta, is charged on this website. Prices include 19% VAT and are the prices shown on this page.
Card, Link, and PayPal renew until you cancel them in the payment provider's portal. PSE, Nequi, and local cards are prepaid periods (1, 3, or 12 months): they do not renew on their own. We email you 7 days and 1 day before they end, with a link to buy another period if you want one.
If the bank has not confirmed a payment yet (for example PSE), the plan stays inactive until that confirmation. A refund approved by the payment provider ends the unused period. Where a cooling-off right applies, you use the same payment method you paid with. Electronic invoices for charges of the Colombian company are issued to the tax id on your account.
8. Intellectual property
The Amiguito brand, its design, and its software are the property of their owners. No rights are granted other than personal use of the app.
9. Limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use or inability to use the app, or from decisions made based on the information shown.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify or suspend the service and update these terms. Changes will be published on this page. Continued use after a change implies acceptance.
